Helen’s work is detailed and figurative, her artworks depict numerous subjects, including people, seascapes, architecture, animals and flowers.

With multiple pieces of torn newspaper and magazine print, she layers and re-layers until the piece is completed. She was inspired firstly by Italian mosaics and later by the impressionistic painters.
